There’s a new summer menu that recently launched at Tony Roma’s which features their world famous barbecue ribs and other delicious items that will only be available until August 18. I had the opportunity of being one of the first to try out the entire menu several weeks weeks back and I can honestly say that there couldn’t be a more perfect menu for the summertime! The two featured drinks that I got to try where the Watermelon Romarita and the Strawberry Lemonade made with Absolut Citron Vodka, strawberry puree, and fresh strawberries. Both drinks were very light, sweet, refreshing, and perfect for keeping cool in the Miami heat!
For starters my husband and I had the Baby Back Rib Flatbread and the Loaded Tater Tots which are also part of Tony Roma’s summer menu. The flatbread was made with caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, charred jalapenos, and pulled rib meat and was topped with the most addicting and finger licking BBQ ranch sauce ever!! I found the rib meat to be super tender and flavorful and a good portion size for sharing. The tater tots were topped with a blend of cheddar and Italian cheeses, bacon, chives, and served with a delicious chipotle sauce and was also very scrumptious!
The featured summer entree that we got to try was Tony’s BBQ Trio which you can actually have two ways. The first combination comes with Tony Roma’s World-famous Baby Back Ribs, Nashville Hot Chicken (my favorite) and a Grilled Smoked Pork Sausage and the second combination comes with World-famous Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Quarter BBQ Chicken, and Pulled Pork. Both combinations had a southern and classic twist to them and are a must to try if you’re a huge meat lover like me! None of the meats lacked flavor whatsoever and were mostly topped with a delicious in-house made signature BBQ sauce that is to die for so my husband and I definitely enjoyed both dishes! Plus, the portion size was generous and very filing.
For dessert we had the Summer Peach & Blackberry Cobbler which you can never go wrong with! It’s served warm with two scoops of vanilla ice cream so it’s the perfect blend of hot and cold. Since I am a huge fan of cobblers it did not disappoint me one bit and I would definitely recommend it!

The way that it works is that each week several lucky participants will be randomly chosen to receive various bonus prizes and during the last week of the contest, one lucky fan will win a $200 Tony Roma’s restaurant gift card!
