There is a new and exciting promotion going on at Burgerim that involves well known public figure and foodie, Jonathan Cheban aka “Food God” on Instagram. In honor of this celebrity figure who is now the new face of Burgerim the restaurant chain has just announced their newest edition to the menu, the Food God burger! The burger contains a 1⁄3 pound of Angus ground beef patty that is topped with American cheese, Classic lettuce, Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced onions, and a signature house sauce all in between two sweet potato buns but it’s only available for a limited amount of time!
Luckily, I had the chance to stop by one of the locations this past week to taste the new burger and other popular menu items. While the menu had very few food options to choose from I did like how easy and simple it was to place the order. Basically, you first pick out the type of meat that you want along with the quantity so whether it’s one single patty which is the 1/3 pound Angus or the duo which brings two burgers or even the triple that’s all up to you. Usually the duo and triple burger combo comes with 3 ounce patties which I think is pretty decent because that way you can taste of variety of different styles of burgers and still get to finish the whole meal because of the smaller portions. What’s really cool about the menu at Burgerim is that you can pick the signature style that you want on your burger! The signature styles that you can customize your burger with are Classic, California, Cowboy, and Caliente (spicy).
I decided to go ahead and customize my Food God Burger so instead of getting the original and classic style of toppings I went ahead and got it Cowboy style which brings cheddar cheese, bacon, onion ring, and bbq sauce! Since I had the combo that comes with fries, a drink, and chicken wings I went ahead and added the Garlic Aioli sauce to my fries to make it even better! I also placed a separate order of onion rings since I heard they were really good along with a strawberry milkshake and a mini falafel burger topped with fried egg on top just so I can try a variety of menu items. My husband ordered the duo combo with one burger being Wagyu Beef and the other Merguez which is made with a Spicy Beef patty along with a Oreo milkshake.
Everything that we had from the Food God Burger to the onion rings to the crunchy chili garlic chicken wings and fries were absolutely delicious!! I usually like to order my burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, onion ring, and BBQ sauce any where that I go because I honestly love that combination so I really liked the Food God Burger that I customized because of those toppings. I thought the patty was tasty but the only little complaint that have is that I found it to be a little dry where I was expecting it to be more juicy. Nonetheless it had a great flavor to it and I would definitely order it classic style the next time I visit. Out of all of the burgers that I tried the only burger that I wasn’t a fan of was the Falafel burger with the fried egg on top because I felt it was too dry and I didn’t really like the combination or flavor. The fries were amazing with the Garlic Aioli sauce on top and are hands down some of the best fries I’ve ever had and the milkshakes were really good as well, especially the strawberry one!
If you plan on visiting Burgerim anytime soon I would definitely recommend trying the onion rings, garlic aioli fries, crunchy chili garlic chicken wings, Food God Burger, Wagyu Beef Burger, and their milkshakes for sure which you can never go wrong with!
Below you will find some photos of my recent visit to the North Miami location, hope you will enjoy them!
